Oil and Water Dont Mix!!!
Oil and water don't mix because oil sits on top of the water. Oil gets into water because of boats loaded with oil breaking in half, people pouring oil into drains or sinks and people spilling oil into the water when filling up their boat. When oil gets into water birds swim into it and get covered with oil so they can't fly very well. Sometimes fish swim into oil thats on top of the sea, that causes the fish to not swim very well and die. People put up a floating wall called a boom on top of the sea around the oil spill to make it stop getting any bigger, then they use a thing like a vacuum cleaner to suck up all of the oil that was on top of the water. If you want to help stop oil getting into the water and help save the enviroment, you can try to be careful when filling up your boat and not pouring oil into drains and sinks. By Deken
